South Kensington & Knightsbridge

South Kensington

Smart white Georgian terrace houses with sleek stucco entrances and private garden squares epitomise South Kensington properties.

With the glitz of Knightsbridge in walking distance, South Kensington maintains its timeless class and style. It is an area rich in culture. The various attractions (including Natural History Museum, the British Museum, Science Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum and Royal Albert Hall) bring tourists and vibrancy to the area, whilst maintaining their distance so as not to detract from the exclusivity of South Kensington residencies

High end designer shops, trendy bars, traditional pubs and fine dining lure wealthy investors and families to this quintessentially West London neighbourhood.

Tucked behind the amenities of Fulham Road, Gloucester Road and Old Brompton Road are numerous enclaves of cobbled streets with mews houses and mansion blocks bursting with architectural character.

With our offices in SW7, Terence St J Millett have undertaken conveyancing in South Kensington daily since 1972. We therefore have excellent relations with local estate agents, managing agents and freeholders which help ensure transactions proceed smoothly to completion.

This eponymous district comprises the area south of Hyde Park, east of Exhibition Road and west of Sloane Street. Brompton Road, Beauchamp Place and the western section of Pont Street serve roughly as its southern border together with their adjacent gardens and squares such as Ovington Square, Lennox Gardens and Cadogan Square. South of this area, the district fades into Chelsea while Belgravia lies to the East and South Kensington to the West.

Knightsbridge is not only home to Harrods, it contains an array of prestigious flagship stores stretching along Sloane Street, rivalling Bond Street as the English home for the finest British and international fashion houses.

The district is leafy, especially considering its location at the heart of London. It is home to many of the world's richest people, and has some of the highest property prices in the world including the world's most expensive apartment at One Hyde Park. The district is adjacent to Inner London's largest public park, Hyde Park.

We have excellent relations with the principal freeholders in the area, namely Cadogan Estate and Grosvenor Estate ensuring sale and purchases proceed smoothly to completion.

We advise on transactions at all the well known Knightsbridge addresses including as Trevor Square, Egerton Place, Ovington Square, Cadogan Square, Lennox Gardens and Hans Place.
